In brief
Screening is modern film infrastructure: premiere, audience, commerce, and relationships on one platform — ticketed nights, on demand, and the people who show up for your work, without giving ownership away to another gatekeeper.
Modern film infrastructure from The Interfaces Company.
What Screening is
A platform where filmmakers sell ticketed screenings and on-demand rent or buy, and where audiences discover independent film without another anonymous link in a group chat. Hosts keep the relationship; buyers pay the filmmaker directly.
Ticketed nights and on demand, one home
Ticketed nights are showtime sales — room, online, or hybrid. On demand is rent or buy on your schedule. Same payouts and player throughout.
Who it is for
Filmmakers and production companies who want ticketed nights, catalogue commerce, and a path that compounds across releases. Viewers who want to support independent film — on showtime or on demand. Partners and curators who want labelled, opt-in programmes — not opaque ad slots on someone else's film.
Partners and sponsorship
We are rolling out sponsor campaigns, curated collections, and pre-show partner slots. Filmmakers choose whether a brand or programme is associated with their work; paid placements are disclosed to viewers. Screening does not endorse organiser films because a partner appears on the Platform.
How we charge
One all-in fee per paid ticket, rental, or purchase — card processing included. No per-viewer tier and no separate processing line on your statement.
