Terms of Ticket Sale
By purchasing a ticket through Screening, you agree to these terms with Screening (operated by The Interfaces Company) for the ticket and access layer. The organiser of each screening remains responsible for the film rights, programme details, and event content.
The ticket
Each ticket grants access to a specific screening identified at checkout. Price, showtime, and access window are shown on that screening's page and in your confirmation email.
Licence
- Your ticket is personal and non-transferable. Access is tied to the email used at checkout and any signed access link we send you.
- Only one concurrent stream is allowed per ticket. Opening the stream on another device ends the earlier session.
- You must not record, rebroadcast, download, or publicly share the stream or any stream URL.
- Sharing your ticket email or access link so others can watch may revoke access without refund.
Access
When the screening is live, return to the screening's live page and enter the same email used at checkout, or open the access link in your confirmation email. Stream availability depends on a valid paid ticket and the published screening window.
Roles
Screening provides ticketing, access, and session infrastructure. Organisers are responsible for the rights to exhibit the film and for the accuracy of screening details they publish.
Fees for organisers
Paid screenings are charged an all-in Screening fee per paid ticket (currently 4% + 30p unless otherwise agreed), which includes standard payment processing. Free events collect no Screening fee when no payment is taken. Mission, community, or fundraiser screenings may have the Screening fee waived by the platform; if payments or donations are still collected on a waived event, the organiser pays only Stripe's payment processing fees (including higher rates for international cards or unusual payment methods where applicable).
Currency conversion, chargebacks, refunds, or unusual payment methods may incur additional costs beyond the standard all-in fee.
Age & content
You are responsible for ensuring viewers are suitable for the film. If you need content guidance, contact the organiser via hello@usescreening.com.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Screening is not liable for interruptions caused by your network, device, or third-party stream providers. Nothing in these terms limits rights you cannot waive under UK consumer law.
