Organiser Agreement
Last updated: 25 September 2026 (version 2026-09-25).
In short
- You are the seller worldwide; Screening is the platform and takes a published fee.
- An online premiere is a worldwide exhibition unless you geo-limit it. You warrant rights in every territory a buyer can purchase from.
- Tax, VAT, GST, sales tax, ratings, and venue licences are yours.
- Sales are final except where the buyer's mandatory consumer law requires a refund — you must honour that.
- Zero tolerance for CSAM and illegal content worldwide. Discover listing is a privilege.
- Film-level sponsorship or brand association requires your opt-in before it appears with your Content.
- You indemnify us for claims from any country a ticket was sold into.
1. About this Agreement
1.1 The Interfaces Company of Tomorrow Limited (company number 17378131), trading as The Interfaces Company("we", "us") operates the Screening platform.
1.2 You agree when you create an organisation, connect Stripe, publish, enable catalog commerce, or use host features after being shown these terms.
1.3 Company details: Privacy. Buyer terms: Terms.
1.4 Hosting is self-serve: create an account and organisation on Screening. We may suspend or reject organisations that breach these terms; status is shown in your account.
2. Your role
2.1 You decide what to exhibit, how it is described, and where content comes from (upload, embed, booth, or catalog).
2.2 You are the seller and merchant of record for paid tickets and catalog sales, wherever Stripe Connect can pay you. Buyers pay you. We take our published platform fee on the standard charge model. Fee waivers, if any, are shown in your account.
2.3 You must keep organisational, contact, and payout details accurate and comply with law in every country you sell into.
2.4 You are responsible for team members and door staff and their use of buyer data.
2.5 Sales are final through Screening in v1, except where the buyer's mandatory consumer law requires a refund or other remedy. You must honour that law. If we refund, reverse, or absorb a chargeback because the law or the card network requires it, you remain responsible and we may recover from your Connect balance or future payouts. Cancel or postpone from your account — we email ticket holders.
2.6 Stream protection (session limits, signed playback, watermarks) is not studio-grade DRM. Honest description: Premiere protection.
2.7 Partners and sponsorship. We may offer platform programmes (for example curated collections, sponsor campaigns, or pre-show partner slots). Film-level sponsorship or brand association with your Content requires your explicit opt-in in product or in writing before it goes live. You remain responsible for accurate descriptions of any co-branding you accept. Paid or materially supported placements are disclosed to viewers as described in our Terms. A partner logo on Screening does not mean we endorse your Content, and your Content does not imply our endorsement of any partner.
3. Worldwide rights warranty
3.1 Before you publish a premiere or enable catalog rent or buy, you warrant that you have all rights needed to exhibit and distribute the work on the dates, in the territories a buyer can purchase from, and in the formats you list (online streaming, in-person public performance, and on-demand where enabled). That includes copyright, neighbouring rights, music / sync / performing rights, trademarks, personality rights, and any theatrical or public-performance licence required at the venue.
3.2 Online defaults to worldwide. A streamed premiere or catalog title can be bought from anywhere the Platform is available unless you geo-restrict it. If you do not have worldwide rights, you must geo-restrict or not sell online into those territories. We may not yet offer geo-blocking as a product control; until we do, do not list online if you lack worldwide rights.
3.3 Local classification and age ratings (BBFC, MPAA, and equivalents) are yours. So are venue licences in the country of an in-person show.
3.4 Uploading a file confirms you may host and transmit it via our video processor. We do not clear rights for you.
3.5 Publishing records a rights attestation with a timestamp and user identifier.
3.6 You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, transmit, and promote your listings on the Platform solely to provide the services (including Discover if you enable it).
3.7 Discover listing is a privilege, not a right. We may unlist you from Discover without unpublishing the booth.
4. Tax, Stripe, and payouts
4.1 VAT, GST, sales tax, entertainment tax, invoicing, and similar charges in your country and the buyer's country are your problem. Screening displays a platform fee; it does not calculate your tax.
4.2 Hosting requires Stripe Connect in a country Stripe supports. Payouts follow Stripe's rules, timelines, and reserves. We are not your bank.
4.3 Sanctions: you must not sell into territories prohibited under UK, EU, or US sanctions (including OFAC). We may refuse access.
5. Acceptable use
You must not:
- host pirated or unauthorised copies;
- distribute illegal content, including child sexual abuse material — zero tolerance worldwide;
- mislead buyers about title, rights, venue, or format;
- abuse payments, tickets, or access controls;
- circumvent protection or help buyers do so;
- scrape or reverse-engineer the Platform.
Full public standard: Trust & Safety.
6. Suspension, termination, and takedown
6.1 We may unpublish, disable streams, restrict Discover, freeze payout setup, suspend organisations, or terminate host access for a credible complaint, breach, or legal duty.
6.2 We may act without prior notice where urgency requires it. We are not obliged to refund platform fees where we suspend you for breach.
6.3 Report via the report form or Terms (copyright).
7. Appeals
Email [email protected]with subject "Screening appeal", your organisation, the URL, and why the decision is wrong (including rights documents). Urgent illegal-content takedowns may stay up during review.
8. Fairness (including EU platform-to-business)
8.1 If you are established in the EU/EEA, Regulation (EU) 2019/1150 (P2B) may apply. We will give reasons when we restrict, suspend, or terminate your account, except where law or safety forbids notice, and we will handle complaints at the inbox above.
8.2 Ranking on Discover is not a paid placement. Listings appear when published, listed, and upcoming; signed-in viewers may see followed organisers first. We may curate or unlist for quality or safety.
9. Indemnity
You shall indemnify and hold harmless The Interfaces Company of Tomorrow Limited and its officers, directors, and employees from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, screenings, catalog sales, rights failures, tax, or buyer disputes — including claims brought in any country a ticket was sold into — to the fullest extent permitted by law.
10. Warranty disclaimer
The Platform is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties and conditions.
11. Limitation of liability
11.1 Nothing excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be limited.
11.2 Subject to 11.1, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or opportunity.
11.3 Subject to 11.1, our total aggregate liability to you in any twelve-month period shall not exceed the greater of (a) fees paid by you to us through the Platform in that period, or (b) one hundred pounds (£100).
11.4 We are not liable for your content, rights disputes, third-party stream providers, Stripe actions, or losses from suspension while we investigate.
12. Data protection
Each party shall comply with applicable data protection law. Our Privacy policy describes our processing. You are an independent controller for door/check-in use of buyer data.
13. Changes and acceptance
We may update this Organiser Agreement. Material updates get a new version identifier. Continued use of host features after a material update may require re-acceptance before you can publish or connect payouts.
14. Governing law
14.1 This Agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
14.2 The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction for disputes under this Agreement, without limiting mandatory EU P2B rights or other non-waivable local rights that apply to you as a business user.
